Quiet hour is 11:00 pm and will be enforced. Three reprimands within one evening will be grounds for eviction. Seasonal Owners: Repeated visits from management throughout the season will be grounds for eviction.
Please supervise your children at all times, especially near the river, ponds and woods. No racing of bikes or riding after dark is allowed. Children must respect the playground equipment or they will not be allowed to use it. Golf cart and lawn mower usage is prohibited by any child under the age of 16.
We love our furry friends! Please keep your pet on a leash at all times. Make sure your leash is the proper length so your pet is confined to your site. Pets will not be left unattended to bark, dig, or pose a threat to a camper's safety. No pets are to be tied to trees or left to run at river or ponds. You are required to clean up after your pets. If these rules are not complied with, you will be asked to leave your pet at home. Sorry, no Rottweilers or Pit Bulls allowed.
Excessive use of intoxication beverages, needless noise, swearing, commotion, disturbing the peace of your neighbors, destruction of private property, personal assault, or any violation of the park rules will be adequate grounds for arrest and immediate eviction.
Don't forget while here your camp area is your home. Do not trespass through another site for any reason. This means, do not walk through a lot to get to the river or to your lot quicker. Above all, keep your pets off your neighbors' lawn.
You are allowed to cut up your own firewood at your own risk. The campground will not assume any responsibility for accidents, so be careful of your surroundings. No firewood leaves the campground; it is for campground use only. Absolutely no outside firewood can be brought into the campground. The campground sells firewood for $20 a tractor bucket load.
Please place your garbage in plastic bags and deposit in dumpsters located by the fish cleaning house. Fish remains must be wrapped in newspaper. Keep fish cleaning house clean at all times. This is the responsibility of the campers. Absolutely no fish guts in the dumpster or in pit toilets. Dumpsters are to be used for campground garbage only.
Turn off lights as you leave the bath house, pit toilets or fish cleaning house.
During storms, seek shelter in the cement block bath house.
The speed limit is 10mph throughout the campground and on campground trails. One-way signs mean exactly what they say, and you must be 16 years of age to operate a UTV or Golf Cart. No motorized vehicle shall be driven after dark without lights on. No major repairs to automobiles, boats, etc. in campground. Park all vehicles on your campsite or parking area. We have more people and children utilizing the campground and more chances of someone getting seriously injured. After three warnings, it will be grounds for eviction. If you have a guest who breaks this rule, they will be warned only one time. After the second, they will be asked to leave the campground. (No ATVs are allowed in campground.)
All boats, cargo trailers, etc. must be parked in dock area with the exception of when the area becomes flooded. Once water is down, we expect all trailers and boats to be stored down by the designated area near the docs. Boats or trailers kept up above in campground area will be charged $20 a day until it is removed. If you are not using your boat daily, please do not leave it tied to the dock. One-day limit. If boat remains tied to our dock past the one day limit, you will be charged $20 a day until it is removed. Only one boat allowed per campsite due to our limited space.
It is your responsibility to show proof of adequate insurance on your travel trailer, boats, boat trailers, UTVs, golf carts, etc. to cover any damage created by accident, man or nature. The management will not accept responsibility for your own personal property.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult when by the river or back ponds, and life jackets are required. No exceptions! Ponds are not safe to swim in; they are fishing ponds only.
Our campground borders the train tracks and are frequently busy. Absolutely, NO adults or children shall go beyond the tree line or be near the train tracks.
You are entering the trails at your own risk. Stay on trails. No reckless driving. Abide by the speed limit. Watch out for poison oak, ivy, etc. Don't litter in the woods. Be careful and respectful of the wildlife.
ABSOLUTELY NO ONE NEAR THE ROCK QUARRY--THIS IS NOT OUR LAND. Please do not go under the train bridge. This is where our land ends. If you or someone with your party is past this point or caught in or near quarry, you will be evicted immediately. THIS IS A ZERO TOLERANCE RULE.
All permanent campers parked on a Sandy Bottoms-Up Campground lot must be no older than 15 years unless pre-approved. When selling your camper, please notify the buyer the site is not included. Each camper will be set with the owner's discretion as to where it will be set on the lot. No altering of any sites, no building or do-it-yourself projects without the management's consent. All wires are underground, so please see management before any planting or digging. Any patio stones, decorative rock, fire pit, etc. must remain in place when you move out.
No camper will be sub-leased or sub-rented to anyone. $40 per day will be charged to you and any person using your trailer for vacations or weekends. This includes any relatives, married son/daughters, and your children 18 years or older. Any tents on a seasonal site will need to pay the $15 per night tent fee.
All permanent campers will mow, trim and maintain their site. Keep area around camper free of weeds and clutter. If we feel we need to mow and maintain your campsite, we will do so at your expense. We will charge $25 every time we have to mow and maintain your campsite. No children operating lawn mower.
The campground road is not plowed in the winter. Enter at your own risk.
Water to the campsite will be shut off in the fall. The date is subject to weather and can be turned off without warning after October 15. There will water available in the barn until November. (Water will be turned on around April 27.) Do not remove back flow preventers. This is a state regulation. If back flow preventers are removed, you will be charged a $20 fee. You will also incur any state fines we receive if you remove these.
All campers will be metered and pay the going price per KW plus monthly meter rental charge during camping season.
No hunting is allowed on Sandy Bottoms-Up property. No exceptions.
Sandy Bottoms-Up management must be notified if selling camper and not pulling out of the site and reserve the right to approve new owners (if camper is staying on the site). Otherwise, they can request the camper to be removed.
If sold mid-season and the camper is staying on the site, the new camper/site owners will be charged a $100 fee for transfer of rental agreement.
